Make of these what you will -- I was raised in the Church of England and much of that still lingers in memory and belief. Much that has been added since in the name of faith sounds a little hollow and thin, and I wonder about some belligerent believers in the United States today whose mission seems to be to poke the world in the eye.... but as I say, I do still believe, though not in a North American way akin to my limerick about An Itinerant Preacher From Vegas or encapsulate in Dubious Theology. No, I believe, but more in an old world mystic way of experiencing something much more difficult to express and larger than systematic theologies.
